Cora R. Bloomingdale

Mrs. Cora Bloomingdale, 81, of State Highway 10, Canajoharie passed away at St. Johnsville Nursing Home. Born in New Haven, Connecticut on June 28, 1924 she was the daughter of the Howard and Thelma Carroll Louth. Mrs. Bloomingdale in her early years worked in sales, and then went on to work as a dental technician in Albany before becoming a homemaker. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Frederic A. Bloomingdale, whom she married on September 15, 1955; three sons, David Barnes of Albany, New York, Adam Bloomingdale and his wife, Donna, of Hartwick, New York and Charles Bloomingdale of Amsterdam, New York; two half sisters, Carolyn Coutore and Marjorie O?Brian, both of Albany, New York and three grandchildren, Amanda, Sarah and David. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 11am at the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie with the Rev. Lisa L. Vander Wal officiating. Burial will take place in the spring in the Canajoharie Falls Cemetery.
