Mrs. Janet Marie Tracy, age 71, of 112 Cherry St; R.M; Gloversville, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 4, 2005. Janet was born September 1, 1934 in Gloversville, and attended Gloversville schools. She was employed for several years at Johnstown Knitting Co. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She loved her pets, crocheting and reading. Janet was a supporter of the Gloversville Sports Club. She was predeceased by her husband George on December 17, 1972 whom she married on October 4, 1952, and also by her brother Leon Buyce earlier this year, and by her parents James and Marie Buyce Murray. Survivors include her son Michael Tracy and wife Terri and grandchildren Jeffery Tracy, Jennie Tracy, Jami Ford and great grandchild Emmalee Kadle; her son Daniel Tracy and his companion Pat and grandchildren Tiffany Tracy and Nicki Tracy and great grandchild Alexander Hoag and his father John; her daughter Susan Murphy and her husband Timothy and grandchildren Justin Murphy and Kayla Murphy; her brother Richard Murray and his companion Linda, all of Gloversville; her brother Alwood Murray and his wife Marge of Arkansas; sister-in-law Liz Buyce, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Friday at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville, where a funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm Friday. Interment will take place privately at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 7 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205
