Michael E. Kortz, age 59, formerly of Gloversville, died Wednesday at the Holyoke Rehabilitation Center Holyoke, MA . He was born November 26, 1945 in Albany, NY, the son of Roland and Louise Lutz Kortz. He was a graduate of Broadalbin High School and attended college. He had been employed as a driver for several area businesses including Bartyzal?s, Meatland and the Leader Herald. Survivors include his daughter Michelle Kortz of St. Johnsville, NY; a sister Linda McClarren of Fultonville; two brothers: Richard Kortz of Ft. Meyers, FL; and Donald Kortz of Ballston Spa. A Funeral Service will be conducted Friday at 11 am from the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. The family will receive friends Friday from 10 to 11am prior to the service. Burial will be in Broadalbin Cemetery.
