Myra Mae Wilson
October 8th, 1939 - March 30th, 2005
Mrs. Myra Mae Campbell Wilson, 65, of Gloversville died Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville. Born in Alva, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Elizabeth McMinn Campbell. She was educated in Oklahoma and moved to Northampton in 1958. Earlier in her life she had been a machine operator at various factories, and locally employed as a home health aide for private duty. Most recently she had been employed as a certified nursing aide for the Greenbrier Nursing Home in Enid, OK. Mrs. Wilson was married April 16, 1958 to Charles A. Wilson who died January 23, 1999. She is survived by her six children, Catherine Elizabeth Bailey of Gloversville, Charles Robert Wilson of Mayfield, Steven Woodrow Wilson of Northville, and Stacey Lee Wilson, Michael Matthew Wilson and Christopher Alan Wilson, all of Gloversville, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:30 PM Friday, April 1st at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, where a funeral service will follow at 5:30 PM with the Rev. Larry D. Johnson, pastor of the Gloversville Wesleyan Church officiating. Cremation will take place at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady.
