Michael Lloyd Menard

Michael Lloyd Menard Born March 8, 1953 to Lloyd and Virginia Menard in Des Moines, IA Joining sisters Judy and Sharon. Passed away September 10, 2016 at home after a courageous six month battle with pancreatic cancer. His family moved to Bergen Park, CO, when he was three years old. Mike attended school in Evergreen, and graduated high school in 1971. He was on ski patrol in high school at Squaw Pass ski area. He attended Western State College in Gunnison, CO, and graduated in 1975. After college Mike moved to California and worked for Dial Finance. Upon his return to Denver, he started work at Denver/ Anderson news company. He worked there for thirty years. He also was employed at Solar Frame Works, and TerumoBCT. August 31,1985 Mike married Renee Langenberg, and they welcomed their daughter Amanda on July 14,1987. Mike had a passion for skiing, anything to do with computers, watching movies and was a trivia whiz and a walking encyclopedia. A memorial service will be held Saturday September 17th at 11:00 AM at Aspen Mortuary 1350 Simms St, Lakewood CO. He is survived by his wife Renee, daughter Amanda, mother Virginia Menard and sister Judy (Dave) Bussert. He is proceeded in death by his father Lloyd Menard, sister Sharon Norton and nephew Terry Norton. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Lutheran Medical Center/ SCL Hospice.
