Linda A. Bush

Linda A. Bush, 56, of Fultonville, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016 at her home. Born April 1, 1959 in Amsterdam, she was a daughter of Patricia Kowalski Korona and the late Richard Korona. She was a graduate of Bishop Scully High school. Linda received her registered nursing degree from Pace University, and went on to work at St. Claire's Hospital, Schenectady. Later, with her husband, Gerry, they owned and operated Linda's Aquarium and Pet Shop in Amsterdam; she loved animals, especially cats Frank, Bear and Baby. Linda's most rewarding job was being able to become a homemaker, raising her loving children and being able to be a caregiver to local kids. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. On October 17, 1981 she married the late Gerald J. Bush, it was a union that lasted 34 years until his passing on February 10, 2016. Besides her mother, survivors include her loving family, daughters, Sarah E. Bush (Bill Rose) of Amsterdam and Kendra A. Bush of Colorado; son, Adam J. Bush of Troy; sisters, Stephanie Cole and Lisa Iannuzzi (Arthur); brother, Paul Korona (Emily); stepchildren, step grandchildren, nephews and cousins. Linda was predeceased by her son Matthew Jacob Bush who passed away April 18, 2009. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam.
