Donald A. Bouton

Mr. Donald A. "Batman" Bouton, Jr. of Reed Street, Canajoharie, NY died unexpectedly on February 6, 2016. He was 50 years old. Don grew up in Albany, NY on Second Avenue. He was a fun loving, hardworking family man who served proudly in the United States Army. Don was known as "Batman" or "The Godfather" because of his silly antics and devotion to his family and friends. He was also dedicated to his job at the Center For Disability Services, where he was an experienced Information Technology Specialist. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his fiancé, Abra J. Wilder; his two children Donald A. "DJ" Bouton III and Desiree L. Moshier and her husband Aaron K. Moshier; three grandchildren, Gavin, Jaxon and Serenity Moshier; his former wife and lifetime friend Ann Marie LaRose. He is additionally survived by his circle of "brothers" who include, Timothy Feigel, Steve- O, Randy Horvath, Art Purdy, Brian MacCue, Billy Burke, Roger Heckmann, Jason Heckmann, Carole "Blondie" Sitterly, Nancy and Steve Herring, Mike Lizzi, "Uncle" Aaron Allen and Susan Goodemote. He was predeceased by his mother, Daisy Elizabeth "Betty" Bouton and his adopted father, Donald A. Bouton, Sr.; and his biological father, Clifford Buchanan. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2p.m. at the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317. Calling hours will be held prior to the service beginning at 12p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A reception will take place at The Eagles Club, 62 Church Street, Canajoharie following all services. Memorial contributions may be made in Don's memory to the American Cancer Society.
