Harold A. Lasher

Mr. Harold A. Lasher, age 71, of Amsterdam, passed away Monday June 25, 2018 at Mountain Valley Hospice House, Gloversville, NY. Born in Nelliston, NY on August 22, 1946 a son of the late Harold E. and Dorothy Jump Lasher. He was a lifelong area resident and attended local schools. Harold was employed as a LeatherTanner for the Hagaman Manufacturing Company. He enjoyed Hunting and Fishing, long car rides, listening to country music and watching westerns. Survivors include his son, Michael (Becky) Lasher of Amsterdam. Two sisters, Bernice A. Lasher and Lona E. Lasher of Albany, NY. Four grandchildren, Summer Lasher, Hunter Lasher, Ace Lasher and Christian Lasher. Step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive, and also by step-children, Christine Dufresne, Daniel Matuk, and Donna Bell. Harold was predeceased by a brother Glen B. Bruce, and his companion of many years Pauline Matuk who passed in July of 2017. Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
