Mary L. Phillips

Mary L. Phillips age 97, of Amsterdam passed away June 9, 2018, she was born June 21, 1920 in the Town of Glen, NY, and was the daughter of the late Herman and Flori (Marks) Krohn. She is survived by her daughter Donna (Herb) Panczner, grandson Gregory (Audrey) Panczner, great grandchildren James and Jessica, also great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her loving husband, of 60 years, Norman “Speed” Phillips who passed away in 2001. During her lifetime she was an active 4-H Leader. She loved to play Bingo. She worked with Dr. Robert Dunning as his dental assistant for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger Family Funeral Homes, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010, on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 10 to 12 noon, where then a memorial service will take place at 12 noon here at the funeral home with Reverend Kent McHeard Pastor of the Woestina Reformed Church, with a burial to follow in the family plot of the Woestina Cemetery in Rotterdam Junction, NY.
