Edna L. Van Deusen

Edna L. Van Deusen, age 76; of Amsterdam passed away September 16, 2018. She was born February 16, 1942 in Gloversville, NY and is the daughter of the late Roy L. and Marcella (Burke) Van Deusen. Edna is survived by a sister in law Savitri Van Deusen of CT; two nieces Bernadina (Ross) Faber, and Katrina Goldschmidt, her three fur babies, and a dear friend Carol Cristman. Besides her parents she is predeceased by her brother Howard. During her lifetime Edna worked for 30 years as a Physical Education Teacher in CT; also she worked at St. Mary’s Hospital, Food Services for ten years. In her spare time she enjoyed crosswords, puzzles, and traveling. Graveside services will take place on Friday September 21, 2018 at 12 noon at the Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda, NY.
