Valerie Ann Tarantelli
October 27th, 1961 - July 21st, 2019
Valerie Ann Tarantelli, 57, passed away peacefully in Amsterdam on July 21, 2019. Val was predeceased by her much loved parents, Lois and Peter Tarantelli, and beloved sister Chris. She is survived by her stepmother, Georgia Tarantelli, her siblings and their families; Karen (Steve) Ungaro, Tom (Thelma) Tarantelli, Nick (Suzanne) Tarantelli, Joe (Cathy) Tarantelli, and Peter Tarantelli, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends too numerous to count. Val lived, worked, and played within the Liberty family for more than 30 years. She had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh, enjoyed food, and road trips. She especially loved to dance, sing, and socialize (at every opportunity). Above all else her most valued moments were spent with friends and family. She is loved and will be missed by so many. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday July 26, 2019 at 5p.m. at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home 171 Guy Park Ave Amsterdam with Fr. Jeffrey M. L’Arche officiating. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, July 26 from 3p.m. to 5p.m. at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Valerie’s name to Liberty ARC 43 Liberty Drive Amsterdam, NY 12010 in support of the valuable work they do in our community.
