Louis A. Spagnola

Louis A. Spagnola, 39, of Amsterdam passed away March 1, 2020. He was born on May 18, 1980 in Amsterdam, NY. He is the son of Lynda A. Pileckas, and the late Thomas A. Spagnola. Louie will be remembered and dearly missed by many who knew him and have a good story to tell of an encounter or two as a passenger in the ride of his life of adventures. He is survived by the love of his life, Erin Schotts, and the center of his universe, daughter Kailey. He is also survived by his loving mother, Lynda, and step father, Allen Pileckas, as well as his siblings: Thomas Spagnola (Jessica Mancuso) of Amsterdam, Jamie Hillhouse, Sherri (Drew) McLoughlin, Allison Pileckas, Brandon Pileckas, and Paul (Laura) Pileckas; and his nieces and nephews who he loved and adored: Ashley & Gianna Spagnola; Tyler Hillhouse, Lyman & Brodrick Bartlett; Aidan McLoughlin; Brianna Pileckas; and Connor, Hudson & Boden Pileckas. Louie was always passionate for what he enjoyed most in life – good friends, a good drink, and a good time all wrapped up in a good story to tell. His most recent days were spent focused on fitness and bowling with his family. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010 on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 5 to 7 PM. A funeral service will take place on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the family plot of the Hagaman Mills Cemetery.
