Barbra Rogers, 72, of Middle Grove, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday December 16, 2020 at her home. Born in Schenectady, NY on December 10, 1948 a daughter of the late Clarence “Art” and Rita Amell Meunier. She was a lifelong area resident and was as graduate of Schenectady Schools. Barbara worked for a time as a direct support professional for Saratoga Bridges NY State Chapter ARC in Saratoga, NY. She was in healthcare for 20 years. She has a love of the country and nature. Loved dogs, especially her St. Bernard, Kujo. Loved her word search books and was proud of her Native American Heritage. Loved gardening and summers at the Sacandaga Lake with family and spending evenings by a bonfire. She is survived by her loving children, Katherine(Antoine) Washington of Richmond, VA, Elaine(Tracie) La Deaux of Schenectady, NY. Cyndi (Erin) Swiatek of Middle Grove, NY. Grandchildren, Omar Coleman, Shanice Coleman of Richmond, VA, Justin Foster of Schenectady and Joshua Swiatek of Middle Grove, NY. Her siblings, Mona (Andy) Desrosiers of Branford, FL, Gary (Nancy) Meunier of Ballston Spa, NY. Donna (Grady) Lusk, Daytona Beach, FL and Dora Mclaughlin of Barstow, CA. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by siblings, Robert Meunier, Richard Meunier and Deborah Falcon. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Betz, Rossi and Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
