Robert J. “Bob” Reel, 73, formerly of Amsterdam, NY, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Bob was born on December 3, 1947 to the late William Henry and Ruth (Graves) Reel in Cabins, West Virginia. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 1 o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY. Interment will be held at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, Steadwell Avenue, Amsterdam, NY. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from Noon until 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Bob’s family will be accepted to assist with his medical bills and end of life care.
