Michael J. Warfield

Michael J. Warfield, 76, of Gloversville passed away on January 17, 2022 at Albany Medical Center. He was born in Amsterdam on July 28, 1945 and is the son of the late Fred and Helen (Hesslink) Warfield. He is survived by his children Russell Warfield of Gloversville, Jennifer (Bill Sievert) Warfield of Gloversville, and Ginger Warfield of Hudson. Also by his grandchildren Heather Miller, Billy Sievert, Taylor Warfield, and Matthew Sievert, great grandchildren Kaylee Miller, Brandon Miller, and Gregory Miller. Michael is survived by his nephews Keith Engle, Kevin Engle, and Jeffery Engle. Besides his parents Michael is predeceased by his sister Patricia Robertshaw. During his lifetime Michael was a 1963 graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School, and owned and operated Mike’s Discount Beverage in Perth for 20 years, and then went on to be a merchandiser for DeCrescente Distributing Company. In his spare time Michael enjoyed boating on the Great Sacandaga Lake, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his grandchildren whom he adored. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
