Linda Marie Stuczko
September 29th, 1951 - March 22nd, 2022
Linda M. (Suhr) Stuczko, 70, of Amsterdam, NY, passed away on March 22, 2022, after a long illness at River Ridge Living Center in Amsterdam. Born in Utica, NY, on September 29, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Lucy Suhr. Linda graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch High School in 1969, and continued her studies at Fulton Montgomery Community College, where she graduated with an Associate degree in Arts with the class of 1972. For 28 years, Linda worked at Coyne Textile Services in Schenectady, and at Hotaling Florist in Amsterdam over the course of many years. Linda was a member of St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Amsterdam. She loved visiting with her family, attending church, reading, knitting, and crocheting. She is survived by her daughter, Shannon (Christopher) Cozzi of Greeneville, TN; her grandchildren, Justin, Brandon, and Julianna Cozzi, all of Greeneville, TN; her brother, Eric (Laurie) Suhr of Rensselaer, NY; her four sisters, Wendy (Ronald) Dolfi of Houston, TX, Betsy Lewis of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Susan (Seymour) Morris of Utica, NY, and Christine Suhr of Amsterdam, NY; as well as by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 24 Pine Street, Amsterdam, NY on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 11 o'clock in the morning with the Rev. Dr. John A. Califano presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s memory may be made to St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at the address above, or to The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
