Patricia J. Kot, 71, of Woodridge Road, Amsterdam passed peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2022 with her loving family by her side. A lifelong city resident, she was born on May 26, 1951 to the late William Skotarczak and Alice Youngman. She attended local schools and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church. Pat took great pride in her home. She enjoyed crafting, cooking and always made Holiday’s special for her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Edward “Skip” Kot Jr.; her daughter, Gina Pallone; and her brother Timothy Skotarczak. Survivors include her children, Cory (Emily) Ferenz and Leeann (Sly) Harris; her siblings, Marie (Charlie) Montano, Roger (Doris) Youngman, Lori Youngman, Valerie (Vinny) Wilkas, Michael Skotarczak, David Skotarczak, and Deborah Skotarczak; her grandchildren, Gillian Ferenz, Christian Ferenz, Logan Mitchell, Brandon Davis, Mason Davis and Brook (Brad) Steadham and family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 10a.m. at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 50-52 Cornell Street, Amsterdam, NY. All are invited to attend. Burial of her remains will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home.
