Curtis A. Rogers, 68, of East Greenbush, died on July 21, 2023, at Albany Medical Center. Born in Amsterdam on November 18, 1954, he was the son of Lewis and Yolanda DeLuca Rogers, and was raised in Perth. Curt graduated from Perth Central School in 1972 and from the State University of New York College at Oneonta in 1976. He was first employed at Nathan Littauer Hospital, and then at the New York State Department of Health from which he retired after nearly 40 years of service in 2018. Curt’s generosity will be remembered by brother Craig Rogers of Rotterdam; sisters Darlene Rogers of Amsterdam and Donna Daggett of Rotterdam and Charlotte, NC; nephew Todd Daggett of Ballston Spa; niece Heidi (Gary) Hamilton of Waxhaw, NC; grandnephews Brendan and DeAnthony Daggett-Orr, and Jack, Grant and Brady Hamilton; grandniece Lauren Hamilton; great-grandnephew Santana Patton; an uncle John (MaryBeth) DeLuca of Amsterdam; many cousins, good neighbors and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Lewis T. Rogers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26 from 10:00 until 12:00 at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY with interment following at Hagaman Mills Cemetery.
