Judy Kay Findlay (Reed) of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, December 5, 2016 at the age of 68. Funeral service will be held at Aspen Mortuary in Arvada on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at the Arvada Cemetary. Judy was born to Eleanor and Glen Reed on October 24, 1948. She enjoyed reading, shopping and the simple things in life. Judy taught herself to play the piano and shared her love for music with many. She endlessly gave to the people she loved and also made contributions and donations to several organizations that she shared a strong belief in their cause. Judy worked at Envirotest Systems' Air Care Colorado in Arvada. She was fondly known as "Miss J." Judy is survived by her brother, Jerry Reed; sister, Lana Swink; two children, Kenny Findlay and Kristi Hartman; 5 grandchildren and her beloved cat, Fluffy H.
