Amsterdam- Judith Ann Barnes, 78, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Albany Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 25, 1945, in Albany, the daughter of the late Fred and Ann (Lauriello) Adams. A lifelong resident of the area, Judy worked various jobs, but ultimately her best job was being able to be a homemaker and be surrounded by daughter & grandkids. Judy was an avid bingo player and loved cats. Judy is survived by her children, Jody Preville (Joe), Brian Barnes, and Kelly Kenneweg; grandchildren, Jacque Patenaude (Joseph), Jacob Preville, Daniel & Jason Kenneweg. It was Judy’s wish that there be no formal services at this time. Memorial donations in Judy’s name can be made to the Montgomery Co. SPCA, 1007 St. Hwy. 5S, Amsterdam, NY, 12010. Judy’s care has been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam.
