Mr. William G. Kirkpatrick, 64, of Mesa, Arizona died suddenly on October 25, 2018. Born in Amsterdam, New York on November 12, 1953 he was one of four sons of the late Frederick and Esther Ulik Kirkpatrick. Bill was educated in Fort Plain and attended Canisius College, Hudson Valley Community College and later graduated from Meredith Manor International Equestrian Centre as a Riding Master and Instructor. He then moved to Gilbert, Arizona where he was the proprietor of KARS, where Bill took great pride in detailing and the restoration of vehicles. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his two daughters, Emma Kitzman and her husband Kevin of Gilbert, AZ and Mia Frost of Phoenix, AZ; three brothers, Thomas Kirkpatrick and his wife Ann of Silver Creek, NY, Robert Kirkpatrick and his wife Mary of Slatington, PA and John Kirkpatrick and his wife Kristine of Fort Plain, NY; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Haley; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, 115 Reid Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339. A calling hour will precede the Mass beginning at 10a.m. All are invited to attend. Private burial will take place in the family plot at Fort Plain Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to Our Lady of Hope R.C. Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
