Mrs. Nancy Hazzard, 62, of Canajoharie, NY died peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at River Ridge Living Center. Born in Amsterdam, NY on January 23, 1958 she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Yolanda (Dalleo) Bradt. A lifelong area resident, Nancy graduated from Gloversville High School in 1977. She worked for Coleco and later Lee Publications until 1993 when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Edward Hazzard; two children, Heather Hazzard (Jeff Snyder) and Eric Hazzard (Kristy); seven grandchildren Breanna, Hailey and Chelsea Snyder, Breanna, Brandon, Ethan and Abbigail Hazzard; one great grandchild, Emery Raymo; six siblings, Hazel Ropeter (Keith), Charles Bradt (Theresa), Cindy Sweet (David), Lurene Craven (Frank), Harold Bradt (Linda), Linda Crews; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Ralph Bradt Jr. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 1:00p.m. at 586 Brower Road, Palatine Bridge, NY 13428. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association www.mymsaa.org Cremation care was entrusted to Lenz & Betz Funeral Home.
