Richard P. Walsh, 62, of Sprakers, NY passed away on August 1, 2021 with his loving companion by his side. Born in Amsterdam, NY on June 30, 1959 he is the son of the late Ward Sr. and Leda (Klingbeil) Walsh. Survived by his loving companion of 33 years Cindy Jones, also by two brothers Wayne Walsh of NJ, and Dean Walsh of Tribes Hill. Besides his parents he is predeceased by his brother Ward “Butch” Walsh Jr. Born in Amsterdam, and raised in Randall, Richard worked as a contractor for many companies. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Funeral arrangements are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at the Maple Avenue Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville, NY 12072. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Richard can be made to the Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078. Please leave an online condolence at www.brbsfuneral.com.
