Michael McCloskey

Michael McCloskey, age 57, of Gloversville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at his home. He was born August 2, 1963 in Amsterdam, the son of Lawrence and Marion Hodel McCloskey. He was a 1981 graduate of Gloversville High School and was owner of Northeast Property Management. Michael was an avid golfer and a classic car enthusiast. However, what he enjoyed most in life was spending time with his two children. He is survived by his wife, Sheri Ficili McCloskey; two children, Jaclyn McCloskey of New York City and Jacob McCloskey of Gloversville; his mother, Marion Truesdale of Sprakers; four siblings, Kathleen Hall-Lanteri (Vincent), Lisa Crocetta (Dick), Lawrence McCloskey (Tracey) and Robert McCloskey (Dawn); as well as several nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his father, Lawrence McCloskey. Private visitation will take place at the safety and convenience of the family at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville.
