Victoria Ann Nethaway

Victoria Ann Nethaway, age 80 of Gloversville, passed away after her battle with cancer on Wednesday February 17, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam, NY. She was born on July 12, 1940 to the late Joseph and Elnora O’Dell of Oneonta, NY. She was the longtime owner and operator of Nethaway Motor Car in Gloversville, NY along with her late husband Ken and their family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Vickie is survived by her three sons Ken Jr (Mary), Frank (Gina) and Tom (Mary Jo) Nethaway; her grandchildren Roasie Hubiak, Frank (Heather) Nethaway, Kyle (Stephanie) Nethaway, Kelsey (Tom) Nethaway, Joshua (Taylor) Nethaway, Lukas (Jaclyn) Nethaway and Miranda Nethaway; great grandchildren Brianna, Joshua, Evan and Madison Hubiak, Koda, David, Kendra and Esabella Nethaway, Olivia Nethaway and Weston Fifield, and Logan Nethaway; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as other extended family. Vickie’s siblings were Stella O’Dell, Rose Leonard, Joseph O’Dell, Ronald O’Dell, Karen Clemovich and Rowena O’Dell. The will be no formal funeral service per her desire. She will be laid next to her loving husband Ken in Maple Ave Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Vickie would like any donations made to the St. Mary’s Cancer Center. 427 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010 care of the Cancer Medicine Patient Care Fund. Her family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at St. Mary’s Cancer Center as well as the staff on Maria Hall and the Palliative Care team.
