Mrs. Joyce E. Hart, age 72, of Gloversville, New York, died on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Nathan Littauer Hospital Nursing Home in Gloversville. She was born on January 30, 1950 in Gloversville, the daughter of Cecil and Elsie (Edwards) Ellithorpe. She enjoyed her service with the American Legion Auxiliary Post 701 and deeply loved her family. Joyce is survived by her husband of 52 years: Orrin E. Hart Sr.; her children: Orrin E. Hart Jr. (Amy), and Kathleen Wemple (William); Six grandchildren Andrea, Alex, Lleyton, Chloe, Natalie, and Ethan; and one brother (Wayne Ellithorpe). She was predeceased by her parents: Cecil and Elsie; five of her brothers, and her two sisters. The family will hold a Celebration of her life for relatives and friends at a future date. Interment will take place privately, at her family's convenience. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Legion Auxiliary Post 701. The staff of Walrath and Stewart is honored to be assisting Joyce's family.
