Frances C. Tesiero, age 81, of Gloversville, New York, died on February 2, 2023 at her home in Gloversville. Frances was born on July 23, 1941 in Perth, New York. She is the daughter of Robert and Minnie (Hemstreet) Bishop. She was a 1958 graduate of Perth Central School where she excelled academically and was a member of various clubs and organizations. Some of these included cheerleading, choir, and yearbook committee. Frances was a hard working woman throughout her life . She went on to become a certified nursing assistant and enjoyed caring for the elderly until retirement from Nathan Littauer Hospital Nursing Home. She was an avid gardener with a green thumb, and could seemingly grow anything.Above all Frances enjoyed spending time with her cats, children, and grandchildren. She was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories . Frances is survived by her siblings: Sharon Black and Willard Bishop; her children: Laura Cook, Robert Bishop, Deborah (Late Bruce) Snow, Richard (Anna) Tesiero Jr., Amy (Bradley) Paddock, Timothy (Stacey) Tesiero, and Jay (Tammy) Tesiero; her grandchildren: Robert Bishop Jr., Christopher Bishop, Tracey Porter, Ryan Gardner, Matthew Cook, Stephen Cook Jr., Zachary Cook, Heather Tesiero, Anthony Tesiero, Gabriella Tesiero, Sophia Tesiero, Kristina Hall, Aaron Hall, Danielle Tesiero, Kirsten Tesiero, Carter Tesiero, Emma Tesiero, Heidi Wells, Ryan Blood, Jay Tesiero Jr., Brooke Tesiero, Kendra Tesiero, and Mya Tesiero; and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents: Robert and Minnie Bishop; her siblings: Gene Bishop and Betty Jean Bishop; two granddaughters: Morgan Tesiero and Reagan Tesiero, and two infant sons. The Tesiero-Bishop family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00AM to 12:00 Noon on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville where a Memorial Service will follow at noon. Interment will take place in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the James A. Brennan Memorial Humane Society 437 Nine Mile Tree Rd. Gloversville, NY 12078. The Tesiero family would also like to include a special thanks to Tammy and Heidi for their wonderful care of Frances.
