Mrs. Beverley June (Willis) Andrews, age 95, of Gloversville, passed away Friday morning, July 7, 2023, at Nathan Littauer Hospital Nursing Home, Gloversville. She was born April 18, 1928, in Johnstown, the daughter of Walter and Ola (Wait) Willis. She attended Gloversville schools and later received her GED at the age of 40. She was employed for many years as a bookkeeper at the former Durkee's Hardware Co. in Gloversville. Beverley was a long-time member of Foothills United Methodist Church and it's Church Women United and the National World Organization. She was active with Girls Scouts for over 65 years and was also a former member of the Jefferson Women's Democratic Club of Fulton County. Beverley is survived by her son, Martin Clark Andrews of Gloversville; stepchildren, William B. Andrews, Jane Cirillo and Barbara Fetter, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her half-brothers, Leroy Lester Willis and Arthur Verl Willis, and a stepdaughter, Maryann Jensen. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 6 pm Monday, July 10th and from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm Tuesday at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 12:30PM Tuesday with Paster Cynthia VanAllen officiating. Interment will take follow at Johnstown Cemetery, Johnstown. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the James A. Brennan Memorial Humane Society, 437 Nine Mile Tree Rd; Gloversville, NY 12078. Online condolences to the family may be made at www.brbsfuneral.com
