Daryl Bruce Baldwin, age 68, of Gloversville, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 21, 2023, at his home. He was born September 7, 1954, in Gloversville, the son of Donald and Ruth (Wood) Baldwin. He was well-known for his two businesses, "Wizzie the Clown" and "Balloon Extravaganzas". He was very creative and talented as many people have witnessed. He was a member of several Clown and Balloon Associations. Passionate about his politics, Daryl loved the United States of America. He believed in the U.S. Constitution and would defend it against anyone who would oppose it. As a proud Republican and Patriot, he was very strong in what he believed in. Daryl served as a Past Councilman for the Town of Johnstown. He was a genuine and kind person and would go out of his way to be kind to those in need. For those who knew him well, Daryl was the best friend one could ever hope for. He was a very honest person who could not tell a lie. Daryl is survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, a niece, as well as many friends including close friends Susan Furman and Jim Handy. In addition to his parents, Daryl was predeceased by his brother, Price Baldwin. Relatives and friends may call from 10 am to 12 noon on Friday, July 28th at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 12 noon with the Rev.
