Rick A. Charbonneau

Rick A. Charbonneau, age 60, of Gloversville, died Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam with his family by his side. He was born January 17, 1963, in Gloversville, the son of Claude and Sandra (Locatelli) Charbonneau. He was a graduate of SUNY New Paltz Class of 1985. Rick was employed by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services for many years until his death. Rick loved his family and he also enjoyed woodworking, golfing, live music, betting the horses or working on various projects at his home. Rick especially loved to entertain his friends. One of his favorite things to do was throw big parties with live music, bonfires, food, fireworks and most importantly good friends and family. Rick is survived by his father, Claude Charbonneau; two sons, Eric Charbonneau (Deana Rorick) and Alex Charbonneau (Erin Glover); a sister, Robin Charbonneau; and a nephew, Nicholas Rosmarino. He was predeceased by Sandra Charbonneau. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the charity of your choice.
