Andrea Russell

Andrea Russell, age 32, of Fort Plain, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2024, following an automobile accident in the Town of Johnstown. She was born September 26, 1991, in Amsterdam, the daughter of Anthony and Kimberly (Bombard) Russell. At the time of her death, Andrea was employed as a warehouse associate by Target Distribution, Amsterdam for several years in which she gained many friends. Andrea was a vibrant soul, one would say she was a poppy in a field of wild roses. Andrea enjoyed doing many things that involved her family, puzzles, reading, hiking, eating lots of sushi, spending time with her animals (dogs, cats and chickens) to finding new adventures/activities to take part in. The one thing she loved doing the most was being a mother and including Zoey in all that life had to offer. Andrea could light up the room as soon as she walked in with her contagious smile, she always held out her hand to those she loved most with no hesitation. When thinking of Andrea, think of this quote from Nicholas Sparks “Love is like the wind, you can’t see it but you can feel it.” Andrea is survived by her daughter, Zoey Brezovsky; her life partner, Matthew Brezovsky; her father Anthony T. Russell (Deborah); her mother, Kimberly Aguilera (Nick); four siblings, Nicole VanVranken, Jordan Russell (Malaina), Kyle Russell and Marisa Savage; her grandfather, Donald Russell; grandmother, Rosena Hayes. As well as two nephews (Liam and Nash) and a niece (Aria) as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Hilda Decker, Ronnie Decker and Jo-Ann Russell (Nama). The family will receive relatives and friends from 1 to 4 pm Wednesday, April 10th at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville.
