James M. Langlois

James M. Langlois, age 88, of Bleecker, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024, at the Fulton Center, Gloversville. He was born July 8, 1935, in Malone, NY, the son of Alfred and Ruth (Miller) Langlois. He was employed as an electrician by Local 236 IBEW of Albany for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the Adirondack Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing bluegrass music with his guitar and attended many bluegrass festivals. He was also an avid hunter. Jim is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan (Bleyl) Langlois; five sons, Kyle Langlois, Jeffrey Langlois (Lisa), Donald Hotaling, David Hotaling and Lance Hotaling (Debbie); 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Beatrice Holland, and two nieces. The family will receive relatives and friends from 12 to 1 pm Friday, May 3rd at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Nate Peterson officiating. Interment will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Bleecker. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Adirondack Baptist Church, 1431 State Route 29, Gloversville, NY 12078.
