Noreen Weil

Noreen Weil, 79, of Gloversville, New York passed away peacefully on May 19, 2024 at her home in Gloversville. Noreen was born on February 3, 1945 in Orange, New Jersey to the late Thomas and Mary (Case) Burns. Noreen was raised in New Jersey, and moved to the Gloversville area in the late 1970s. She worked for Domestic Leather as a Secretary for many years, until her retirement. In her retirement, Noreen took a job as a Switchboard Operator at Nathan Littauer Hospital, until she became ill in 2009. A loving mother, and grandmother, Noreen is survived by her children, Kathleen Weil, and Christopher Weil; as well as by her grandson, James Wilson. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Thomas and Mary Burns; her granddaughter, Kassie Wilson; and by her siblings, William Turner and Claire Fox. Funeral services will be held privately, at the convenience of the family.
