Mona Lisa Williams, 64, of Syracuse, departed this life on May 31, 2020. She was born August 22, 1955, in Elmira, New York, to the late William B. Williams, and Melivina Newport. Mona worked at Vivian Teal Assisted Living Facility until she became disabled. She spent most of her time working to support her family, but when she had free time, she enjoyed shopping, and decorating the family home. She was outgoing and known to be the life of the party. She is remembered for being a fun mom, and a loving grandmother. She is predeceased by: her parents; brothers: Mitchell, Michael, and Rodney; sisters: Debbie and Maryann; lifetime partner, Leroy Holloway; daughter, Tinesha Williams, and grandson Nayzhon Hudson. She leaves to mourn her passing: daughter, Yolanda Williams; son in law, Tyrae Box; seven grandchildren: Donnell, Jr., Donnell III, Jamera, Janayasia, Leiasia, Marizah, Jacala, Jervaiya, Xoimere; great grandchildren: Aubri Lashea, Amari, My’Jerriah, Paradise, Nayoni; sister, Nelly Williams; and best friends: Maudine Acevedo and Valerie Pendergraph.
