Anthony Jones, 60 of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. He was born in Los Angeles, California to Moses L. Jones Jr. and Dilsie L. Epps-Jones. He graduated high school in Compton, California. Anthony loved spending time with his family and also was an avid animal lover. He loved to socialized with people and was a good spirited man. He is predeceased by his parents, Moses L. Jones and Dilsie L. Epps-Jones; and a brother, Robert L. Epps-Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Marian E. Jones; siblings, Moses (Anita) Jones III, Reginald (Sandra) Jones, Regina Jones-Johnson and Lisa Diraddo; daughters, Taneshia (Joseph Sumler) Jones-Sumler and Ebony Scott; step-children, Christopher Scott and Ikema Williams; grandchildren, Malachi, Alexus, Diamond, Avery, Breanna, Mitchell and Joel ; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of family on the Smiley side. Calling Hour will be Friday, January 8, 2021 from 11AM to 12 Noon at A. Dewitt Memorial Funeral Home, 46 12 S. Salina St., Syrracuse, NY 13205. Services will follow at 12 Noon.
