Rita "Caparco" M. Ori
May 23rd, 1929 - August 28th, 2017
Rita M. (Caparco) Ori, 89, of Syracuse, NY, surrounded by loving family members went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 28, 2017. She and her husband Tony owned and operated several restaurants in the Syracuse area during the 1970's and 1980's. In her later years she enjoyed painting (she was very talented in landscapes using oils and acrylic paints), knitting, visiting with friends and family members and shopping. Rita was predeceased by her husband, Tony Ori; her parents, Nicholas and Angeline Caparco; four sisters, Mildred Diglio, Carmy Campolo, Evelyn Haley and Marion Miller; one brother, Nicholas Caparco Jr. Rita is survived by her five children, Cheryl (Sherry-John) O'Brien; Antoinette Wilson, Anthony (Terri) Ori all of Liverpool NY, Donna (Aaron) Sams and Christopher (Dana) Ori of West Palm, FL; one brother, Richard (Ann Marie) Caparco of Liverpool NY; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Pope John XXIII Church, 8920 Soule Rd. Liverpool, NY 13090. Please leave condolences at www.adewittmemorial.com
