Santos “Chucky” Pinet Gonzalez, 55 of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 1, 2021. He loved to cook, music and most importantly, his family. He is predeceased by his mother, Anna Gonzalez and father, Gonzalo Pinet; his son, Joel Pinet Jones; sister, Margaritta Pinet; brother, Junior Pinet; and sister, Niada Pinet. Chucky is survived by his life partner, Rose Rodriguez; his children, Joshua Pinet, Tito Pinet, Anna Pinet; stepchildren, Neftay Ovalles, Ashley Rodgriguez, Angie Rodriguez and Irmarys Rodriguez; a host of grandchildren; siblings, Liz Jeannette, Luz Pinet, Rosa Pinet, Anna M. Pinet, Wanda Pinet, Diana Teresa Pinet, Julio and Raphael; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 10AM to 12PM at A. Dewitt Memorial Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St., Syracuse, NY 13205. Services will follow at 12PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Loomis Hill Cemetery.
