August 30th, 1935 - February 27th, 2024
Mary E. Austin 88 of Syracuse, NY passed away on February 27, 2024. Born in Opelika, AL she worked for Home Aides of CNY. She was predeceased by a sister Leetha Mary Jones, brother Elder Jimmy Wilson, a son Leonard Wilson, a grandson Michael Wilson and her beloved mother, Roena Beasley. Mary was loved and cherished by her family and friends. Her survivors include her siblings Wyreen Jones of Rochester, Roosevelt (Nellie P.) Henderson of Alabama, Rosie Mae Moore of Florida, Frank (Christine) Gilmore of Syracuse and Nellie Jean Gilmore of Georgia. Husband, Richard Austin, son Ricky Austin, daughters Wilmarene Bradford, Nicola “Nicky” Austin and several stepchildren. Grandchildren Angela Wilson, Ishmael Wilson, Franklin Wilson, Rashad Brown, Henry Bradford III, Frencheska Bradford, Latwanika Rhodes, Marico Wilson, Alisten Austin and several great grandchildren. Many friends and other family members. There will be a memorial service on Wednesday March 20, 2024 at Christ Cultivating Community Church, 104 Hudson Ave, Nedrow, NY 13120 at 4pm with a repass to follow. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
