John M Phillips 47 A member of the Oneida Nation of Thames Canada. A Life Resident of Syracuse NY. Predeceased by his Father John Phillips, Grandmother Rose Phillips of Canada, and Jane King of Syracuse. Survived by his Mother Teresa Doxtator of Syracuse, Brothers Joseph and Murphy, Sisters, Victoria, Sherry, Jane, Kim and Judy all of Syracuse; sisters: Kimberly, Karen, Jean, Jody, Maryann and Jennifer of Canada; children: Baby John, Sierra, Savannah, Janaya and John Jr. of Syracuse. Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews, cousins and friends from Syracuse, Canada, and Georgia. He loved spending time with his kids and family vacations. He loved horses, dogs and custom cars. He was the lead singer of the family native dance group known as The Iroquois Family Singers and Dancers. He was employed by Crouse Hinds and Grainger and Millennium Cars. Calling hours will be from 11 AM to 1 PM, on Monday June 4, 2018 at Ballweg and Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St. Syracuse, New York, 13025. A funeral service will follow immediately at 1 PM. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery following services on Monday.
