Adeen Turner

Adeen Turner, 96, of Cicero, NY passed away peacefully after a long illness, on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. She was born December 26, 1923, in Okolona, Mississippi and grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas. She relocated to the state of New York in 1942 where she worked various jobs and continued her schooling until she retired from the then, Plaza Nursing Home as an LPN. She was an evangelist and a member of the Full Gospel Church of the Lord, in Nedrow, New York. She enjoyed worship and the fellowship of the church, crocheting, gardening, cooking and spending time with family. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Ann Turner-Bradshaw (2017) and her granddaughter, Yolanda Adeen Hemphill (2020). Adeen Turner leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memories and to celebrate her life; four daughters, Ruth Stover of Powder Springs, GA, Brenda Jackson of Syracuse, NY, Linda Betsey of New Castle, DE and Mary Skipworth (Charles Jr.) of Cicero, NY; five sons, Jonathan Turner (Malou) of Cloverdale, CA, Jesse, James and David Turner, all of Syracuse, NY, and Micah Turner (Tushanda) of Knightdale, NC; one god-daughter, Connie Davis of Baldwinsville, NY; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and family and friends.
