Mary Lou Reitz, 89, passed away on October 9, 2020 at Loretto. Native and life resident of Syracuse, she is predeceased by her loving husband Gregory Reitz Sr., her mother Grace Hotaling, her father William Kemp, siblings Shirley Palmer, Hazelbell Alford, and Thomas Kemp. She is survived by her daughter Donna Lee Clark (William Sr.) of Warners and her son Gregory Reitz Jr. of Syracuse and four sisters, Kathy, Jean, Ellen, and Gloria Ann. Mary Lou has 6 grandchildren, Tina, William Jr., Wayne, Lorena, Jennifer, and Krissy along with 6 great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Joshua, Wayne Jr., Hannah, Crystal, and Emery. Mary Lou was blessed with having 1 great-great-granddaughter Sophia along with several nieces and nephews and cousins. Mary Lou was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her. She loved spending time with her family, playing cards, playing bingo (she loved to yell "shake them balls up"), watching the Dallas Cowboy games, and watching the New York Yankees play. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St., Syracuse, NY 13205 with a graveside service immediately following at St. Agnes Cemetery where she will rest in peace with her husband.
