Ronald David Jones
April 17th, 1941 - June 28th, 2023
Ronald David Jones, 82 of Liverpool, NY passed away on Wednesday June 28th, surrounded by family and friends, who loved him dearly. Ron was always there for his family and loved spending time with them. He enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, Civil War history, crossword puzzles and his favorite football team the “Dallas Cowboys”. He served in the U.S Army and retired from General Motors in his later years. After retirement, he worked part time at Wegmans. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell and Rebecca, and his beloved sister Joan Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Roseanne Jones of Liverpool, His daughters Ronna and Tamra (Dale), sons Michael (Kim), Christopher (Tonia), Thomas, Timothy (Lynn) and Daniel, 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, which he adored. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM Wednesday, July 5th at Ballweg ans Lunsford Funeral Home 4612 S. Salina St., Syracuse, NY 13205. A funeral service will follow at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Syracuse.
