Marva J. Metz

Marva J. Metz, 88, of Jamesville passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 27, 2024. She will be missed by her family for her spirit and her love of family, as well as her volunteer efforts. She loved music, blueberries, reading and knitting. She is predeceased by her husband, Otis P. Metz Jr., daughter Leslie E. Metz, and grandsons Daniel F. Metz and James M. O’Donnell. She is survived by her son, Andrew (Dauryne) Metz of Tully, daughter Marlene (Melvin) O’Donnell of East Syracuse, and siblings Sandra (Jack) Burchard of Southgate, MI, and Arden (AnnMaria) Wellington of Camden, DE. She loved her grandchildren, Spencer, Gia, and Cori, as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling Hours will be Friday, February 2, 2024 from 4-6PM at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane LaFayette, NY 13084. Services will follow at 6PM. Spring Burial will take place at LaFayette Rural Cemetery. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the LaFayette Fire Department, 2444 Route 11, LaFayette, New York 13084.
