Kyle Anthony Greczyn April 6, 2024 Kyle Greczyn, 21, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, surrounded by family. Kyle courageously fought for his life after he was found unresponsive last week. If love could have kept him here, Kyle would never have left. However, the Lord recognized a soul so pure and wanted him for his own. He is survived by his mother: Bonnie Jean Greczyn, step-father: Randy Carmona, father: Yonghua Tai and step-mother: Ginger Tai, siblings: Keane Carmona, Krimson “Cage” Carmona, Jason Bova Jr., Jasmine Tai, and Mason Tai, Grandparents: Barbara and Mike Greczyn, William and Linda Greczyn, Sr., Donna Francis, Surviving Aunts and Uncles: Philip (Michelle) LaFramboise, Connie Polfleit, William Jr. (Candice, David C.) Greczyn, Brooke (James) Haines, Craig (Rachelle) Greczyn, Garrett (Erin) Greczyn, Holly LaPrade, Hayley Francis, and Kenneth Bennett. Kyle leaves behind many cousins whom he adored and was adored by. Kyle is also survived by his little dog, Kylie. Kyle was a 2021 graduate of LaFayette HS. He was certified in construction and was working towards his HVAC certification through BOCES. Kyle’s professors and classmates cherished and greatly loved him as well. Kyle spent his ‘free’ time volunteering and was a giant asset, willingly jumping in to help in any way he was asked. Kyle was indispensable to his church community, Apple Valley United Methodist Church, volunteering in a myriad of ways, especially with the Potato Booth at the LaFayette Apple Fest. Kyle enjoyed working outdoors and dreamed of owning his own company. He was a quick learner and an enthusiastic student. The family would like to give a giant thank you to all the staff at Upstate Hospital, specifically the doctors and nurses on 9F who tirelessly worked to make Kyle’s last moments comfortable.
