Marie "Dolly" Girardi Mallilo

Marie Girardi Mallilo (aka Dolly by family & friends) was born on May 26, 1930 in Corona, New York and passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020. She lived a long fulfilled life. Marie was married for 45 years to the love of her life, Thomas Mallilo. They are now reunited in Heaven. She was someone who loved to give to others, whether it was through her delicious, home-cooked meals or always remembering to send out birthday, anniversary and holiday cards to her family and friends. Marie had three sisters, Joan, Honey, and Eleanor in addition to three brothers, Nick (Junior), Anthony and Louie. Some of her favorite hobbies were cooking, going out to dinner and going to the casinos in Atlantic City with her best friend, Maria. Marie is survived by her five children, Anthony (Georgia), Tommy (Lorraine), Donna, Ronnie (Donna) and Jack (Anna) Mallilo. She had eight grandchildren, Raymond, Christine, Danielle, Ronald, Jennifer, Vanessa, Thomas and Gina. Marie also had three great-grandchildren, Anthony, Abigail and Hendrix. The greatest joy of her life was getting her family together to eat and laugh. Marie’s family was everything to her. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations can be made in Marie’s memory to The American Cancer Society.
