Richard A. Price

Richard A. Price, of Waukesha, passed away with his family by his side on Friday, August 10, 2018 at the age of 89. Richard was born on July 3, 1929 in Milwaukee to Ray and Polly (nee Limle) Price. On February 18, 1958, he married the love of his life, Mary. Richard serviced his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1948 to 1956 and as an airman in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1969. After retiring from the United States Air Force as an electronics instructor, Richard went on to work as an area manager for SBC until his retirement in 1990. He was the commander of Post 721 and enjoyed camping, hiking, biking, and hunting. Richard was one of the most honorable people you could know. Richard will be deeply missed by his; sons, Richard (Julia Rogers) Price of Menomonee Falls and Raymond (Barbara) Price of Menomonee Falls; grandchildren, Travis (Nicole) Price and Destiny Gartland, both of Menomonee Falls; great-granddaughters, Piper and Charlotte; sisters, Barbara (John) D’Amore of Delafield and Patricia McDermott of MD. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; sisters, Beverly Himel, Violet Vertram, and Frances D’Angelo; and brothers, Dale Price, Phillip Price, and David Price. The visitation for Richard will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the 12:30 p.m. funeral service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial will immediately follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Harfel House, N88 W17630 Christman Rd.
