Patrick “Papa” H. Bukowski, of Waukesha, 66, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at his home. He was born in St. Francis, WI on March 17, 1955, the son of Henry and Grace (nee Helmle) Bukowski. On July 21, 1979, he married his true love Rae Ann LaVallee. Patrick received his master’s degree from Marquette University. He worked at Briggs & Stratton as a program manager for many years. Patrick was a hard worker, a perfectionist and always determined to overcome any obstacle put in front of him. His love for his family was such a big part of his life and he loved nothing more than working beside them on a project and sharing his knowledge. Patrick was a warrior and fought brain cancer for two years. His fight with cancer and his will to live became an inspiration to many. He enjoyed spending most of his time with his grandchildren, who lovingly called him “Papa”. Patrick will be deeply missed by his wife of 42 years, Rae Ann Bukowski; children, Leanne (Joseph) Hollingsworth, Brian (Michelle) Bukowski, and Kim (Christopher) Garland; grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie, Norah, Zoey, Elliana and Jacob Patrick; and sisters, Deborah (David) Hojnacki and Leta Jung. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Matthew H. Bukowski. The visitation for Patrick will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 9:00AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Luncheon will immediately follow Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Glioblastoma Foundation, P.O.Box 62066 Durham, NC 27715 or St. William Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the staff at ProHealth Hospice for their loving care.
