Frank †œSteve†� Anderson Stephens, 67 Steve passed away October 4th, 2017 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Columbus, Ohio on May 11th, 1950 to Frank and Sally Stephens, he earned his bachelor†™s degree in chemical engineering from Clarkson College of Technology. After jobs in California, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico, Steve embarked on a new career endeavor with his father in Colorado, Iron Carbide Development Corporation. It brought him much joy to work side-by-side with his father. The job also provided him opportunities to live and work abroad in Australia, Trinidad & Tobago, and state-side in Corpus Christi, TX. He enjoyed his time abroad and traveling, especially when he was able to include some scuba-diving. However, he always enjoyed the mountains of Colorado, particularly camping and fly-fishing. Not to mention, countless hours in his basement shop feeding his love of wood-working. Steve is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marilyn, his daughter Darci (Tom) Byrnes, son Adam (Kelli) Stephens, daughter Laura (Nik) Cimino and 13 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Janice Garcia and Susan (Stu) Adler, and many loving extended family members and friends as well. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sally Stephens, his sister, Lee Plunkett and brother-in-law, Ruben Garcia. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, October 12th, at Aspen Mortuary, 6370 Union St. Arvada, Colorado. Burial will be held in private. Relatives and friends are welcome at the service and the reception at The Depot at Five Parks, 13810 W. 85th Dr., Arvada, Colorado, following the service from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
