Sharon A. Nugent
May 14th, 1938 - February 7th, 2015
Sharon A. Nugent, of Waukesha, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at her residence with her loving family by her side at the age of 76 years. Sharon was born on May 14, 1938, the daughter of John and Marian Esser in West Allis, WI. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point and then married her high school sweet heart, Robert Nugent on August 22, 1959. Sharon was a Kindergarten aide for 20 years at Lowell Elementary School, but her most beloved job was being a wife and mother. She was a wonderful spirit who loved nature, trees, art and antiques. Sharon was an art enthusiast who sponsored many beginning artists. She will always be remembered for her gift giving and generous spirit. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert "Bob" Nugent; children, Amy (Jeff) Kunz, John (Denice) Nugent, Paul (Celeste) Nugent; grandchildren, Alexandra (Travis) Nugent, Nic Nugent, Grace Nugent and Eli Nugent; great-grandchild, Max Nugent; and brother, Dale Shuda. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents; brother, John; and sister, Janet. A celebration of Sharon's life will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Tuscan Hall Banquet Center, 409 Delafield Street, Waukesha, WI 53188, in the Wine Cellar. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in Sharon's memory.
