Lee C. Pearce, of Waukesha, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015, surrounded by his family, following a lengthy battle with prostate cancer, at the age of 74 years. He was born in Waukesha on August 13, 1940, the son of Anders and Florence Pearce. He was a graduate of Carroll College in 1963 with a degree in Economics and belonged to Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He worked for many years as a credit manager for Praxair (formerly Bentley Welding Supply). In his retirement years, Lee worked for the Wisconsin Credit Association. He was a former member of the First Congregational Church of Waukesha and currently a member of Elmbrook Church. Lee was an avid Wisconsin Badger fan, tennis player, played in two senior golf leagues and was happiest when spending time with his family. His children and grandchildren treasured his passion for life and sense of humor. Lee will be deeply missed by his wife of 51 years, Cynthia; his daughters, Stephanie (Kurt) Rummler of Burlington and Alison (Adam) Wiese of Waukesha; his grandchildren, Daniel, Benjamin, Katie, Sam, Julia and Josie; his brother, James of Austin, TX and nieces, Katie (Steve) Felice and Carolyn Pearce, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, William. The visitation for Lee will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:30 p.m.at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Doug Schoen will officiate. Interment will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Salvation Army, 445 Madison Street, Waukesha, WI 53188, or Katy's Kloset 404 Wilmont Dr, Unit D, Waukesha, WI 53189.
